BIG STEEL INDUSTRIES was started in Calgary in 1977 as a manufacturer and retailer of steel truck canopies. As the company expanded, vehicle accessories were added to increase our product selection. As the costs of producing steel canopies rose, fiberglass canopies were added. They offered a higher quality, lower priced alternative to steel that satisfied our discriminating customer. As our customers needs change so do the products we offer. Although we at BIG STEEL are no longer manufacturing our own canopies. Our suppliers Glasstite, Arrow, Gem Top and Brand FX offer the best quality and selection our customers need. Along with our accessory suppliers we have just about everything for a pick up truck. Customers can choose from fiberglass truck canopies to the latest style bug deflectors with a large selection of products in between.
